Gateway to University Honors is a course at the University of Cincinnati that focuses on introducing new students to the University Honors Program. There is a large focus on self-reflection, and the course also introduces the idea of solving problems in today's world. In its entirety, the course leaves students with a better sense of self and of the world around us.
The Problem Pitch Project involved groups researching an issue in society today and how people and organizations are currently working to solve the issue. The groups then presented their findings to their peers and suggested additional solutions to the issue. The above button will take you to a reflection I wrote about the assignment.
The focus of the University Honors Program is to teach how to become a "Global Citizen Scholar." Linked to the button above is my interpretation of what being a Global Citizen Scholar means, as well as my plan to become one.
